It is a land with 231750m2 Arvense culture with natural landscape next to the Bravura dam, being inserted in a reserve area. It is a Portuguese parish in the municipality of Lagos, with an area of 88.41 km and 4029 inhabitants. Located to the north of Lagos, Odiaxere, land of natural nature, with white houses, traversed by alleys, has traditional handicraft and agriculture as the main activities of its people. It is also very close to this parish that the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve is located. It is located in a countryside area, about 6 km north of the center of the parish. Access is from a variant of the EN125. It is served by a station on the Algarve line. It presents unique landscapes, the result of the region's orthographic and climatic profile, as well as the agricultural activity developed there over the years. Essentially rural in nature, it keeps alive traditions and customs that are evident in the daily lives of the people of Mexilhoeira. Making a chronological progression, this route should start at the Megalithic Monuments of Alcalar, passing through the Roman Village of Abicada, then through the extinct parish of Nossa Senhora do Verde and ending the visit in the center of Vila de Mexilhoeira Grande, where we can see the result of this entire evolutionary process having as reference the expectacular restaurant 'O Lisa'. 80 Km from Faro International Airport, 12 Km from Portimão, 5 Km from Palmares Golf and just 7 Km from Lagos.
